Doctor Paolo Regolo, Neurosurgeon, graduated from the Medical School of the University of Turin/ Italy in 1984 and qualified as a Neurosurgeon from the School of Polyclinic of Milan in 1989.
Previously consultant neurosurgeon at San Raffaele Hospital (Milan, 1991-1999).
Currently consultant Neurosurgeon at GVM Care & Research, italian leader healthcare organization in Europe (Italy, France, Poland and Albania) and Russia.
In Malta he is consultant at St. Francis Medical Center in Naxxar and he performs the surgical interventions at St. James Hospital.
Dr. Paolo Regolo has nearly 60 scientific publications on topics related to operative techniques, brain neoplasms, craniospinal trauma, CSF dynamics and cerebral vascular disorders.
In 2008 he launched a website named videoneurosurgery.com, a video directory which indroduces some surgical procedures in the field of neurosurgery.
His fields of interest are lumbar disc herniation and minimal invasive operations, lumbar spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal), cervical disc herniation, cervical spondylotic myelopathy, spondylolisthesis (slippage of vertebra), kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, adult spinal deformity, various spinal disorders, fracture, tumours and infection of the spine.
